The Worx WG184 is a 13" cordless string trimmer and wheeled edger that runs on a 40 volt battery. It has a 2-in-1 design that allows it to quickly convert from a trimmer to an edger. The edger wheel also pivots so the user can get into tight spaces. The WG184 is lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes it ideal for smaller yards. It comes with two batteries and a charger, so the user can always have a backup battery charged and ready to go.
The Worx WG184 40V Power Share 13" Cordless String Trimmer & Wheeled Edger is perfect for tackling your yard work.
The included batteries and charger means you can start using it right out of the box.
It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for smaller yards.
The 13" cutting swath lets you get the job done quickly.
The wheeled edger feature makes it easy to edge your lawn.
You'll receive professionally finished results with the 40V noncorded string trimmer and wheeled edger. 40V is twice the power of most other string trimmers. So we included 2 X 20V MaxLithium batteries to double your runtime and give you the edger the operating characteristics of a gas trimmer. These batteries, specifically made for worx products, are compatible with any tool on the worx powershare platform. There is a button on the handle that allows you to change this tool into a lawn mower, by pushing and turning it. The spool control system allows you to turn it farther without having to continuously repeat the same process. The speed control enables you to modify the RPMs for higher-quality grass or reduce the blades to conserve battery power when trimming plants is simple. The tool has the same line as that used by professional lawn care employees, which means you'll love the results. The adjustable d-grip handle allows you to operate from any position, and the pivoting head allows you to cut uneven patches of foliage.
Easy to use
This thing is wonderful – long battery life, auto-feed line, powerful, makes short work of trimming borders and edging around the gardens. The safety lock for the speed control trigger is difficult to use as you must hold it against its spring – tiring on arthritic fingers.

First of all I have a 20v and 32v Worx grass trimmers and I love the weight and power they have. The only problem is that they don't run long enough for a 3 acre property. I don't do it all in one day, but like to go about 3 to 4 hours as I am a 74 year old woman. I bought this trimmer with 2 the 2- 20v batteries. I just used it today and it really works good cutting through taller weed grass with no problem. The batteries lasted about a 1/2 hour. I plugged them in the charger (which is great as it charges 2 at a time). I used the other trimmers and batteries (3) until they died. I checked the other batteries and they had already charged, so I could continue. I kept changing the batteries and charging my other 2-20v. I finally had to stop as I had been working 4 continuous hours but could have kept going all day with this charger. Finally, I can do as much as I want. I had been using a Black and Decker with 4 batteries, but it had no real power and the batteries died quickly. I live in Hawaii so there is never down time all year so I need a quality product which Worx is. They are also light weight.

Very poor customer support on defective product
Received trimmer. On first use line fed automatically but line cutting blade is defective and does not cut the line. Result is line extending and wrapping around the spool in less than a minute, rendering the unit unusable. Called customer 'Hot Line," and was told a replacement blade would be sent in 10 days to two weeks! I said the unit is new and I need to use it. Asked why can't replacement for their own defective part be sent at least 2-day. Was told it could, but I would have to pay for the 2-day shipping. That is totally unacceptable customer support. Sorry WORX, this defective trimmer is going back to Amazon. I hope they are pleased that they saved a 2-day shipping expense, but lost a customer.
