It was to replace one that stopped working after 3 years of use.
I have a 1/3 acre property that needs to have a battery operated edger. Running a 125 foot power cord just won’t work. I purchased this as my second edger. The last one stopped working after 3 years. I felt that I got my money worth. Now I have 3, 4 amp batteries and two chargers. The 2 amp batteries are just too small for the property. I had barely enough power with two 4 amp batteries, now with 3 four amp batteries all should be fine for another 3 years I hope, maybe more time who knows! The only problem I had with the last one was the wheels fell off of the spindle.

Box & Eder full of grass trimmings, missing wheels.
Disliked that it appeared that someone cut / trimmed there lawn, put it back in box with/grass trimmings, and missing parts (wheels for edger)Very disappointing!I will warn my family and friends.
