Great and not so great machine.
First off this WORX model does have great suction, it indeed grinds the leaves into a mulch that can be reused or disposed of, and it is easy and quick to clear if something gets caught.. For those reasons it is a five star product! On the down side… perhaps if you live in a part of the country that has a lot of small leaves this would be the machine to use. In Northern California, I have Avocado, and citrus leaves that are simply too large to just vacuum up without continuously tapping the feed on the ground to clear the opening. Heaven forbid you have Magnolia! I found that I could lay the machine on the ground and hand feed the leaves into it much faster. But my biggest issue with this model is the length of the feed tube. I am six feet tall and it is simply too short for continuous vacuuming. The twelve pound weight is not an issue overall until your back starts to argue with you as you are balancing the machine with one hand, the other hand holding the bag strapped to your shoulder, and having to bend over to reach the ground. If you are 5’8″ or shorter this unit will work beautifully! It would be really great to have an adjustable length feeding tube to adjust for the height of the user.

Not as advertised
I purchased this to clean leaves off of the flat roof of my house. I also ordered with the Worx LeafPro Universal Collection System as recommended on Amazon. First you can’t easily switch from Vacuum to Blower as it seems in the ads. You have to disconnect the collection bag before you can switch. My old Ryobi Blower/Vac you could do it on the fly. I thought this would be similar. Not so. You can switch from blower to vac just as easily on some other much less expensive equipment. After finding this out, I tried to hook it up to the Worx Universal Collection system I purchased, but there was no way as the connectors for each are totally different and the generic adapter that came with the Collection system won’t work either as the Blower/Vac has a safety tab on the output connector, the generic adapter doesn’t. I have no idea how the Worx company expects to use the Worx W512 Trivac with the Worx Universal Collection System. Hard to describe how frustrated and disappointed I was…
