My old 11hp honda 4gpm 3200 AR pump quit after 22 years of work. Turned out a $30 unloader fix. Another story. This washer is a 6.5hp honda with a 3000psi cat pump that absolutely wore me out. It eats work up and culls nothing. Easily equals my old washer and is much smaller and lighter and prettier as well. Like my old one, i locked the trigger to max open and throttle down the motor to min idle when not spraying. Solid warranty coverage as well. You will grab tiger by the tail with this one. If you got the money then it will be a good choice.

Honda GX CAT Pump Combo Pretty Much Bullet Proof
We have owned 1 previous pressure washer over the years. Our last had a Honda GC motor and was on its 2nd cheap pump. After lots of research you won’t find a better combo of pump and motor on a pressure washer for this price. Honda GX series engines and CAT pumps are the benchmarks in their respective categories. Unboxing was straight forward, oil fill was easy enough and first start was typical for a Honda: 1-2 pulls. We let the engine run for 30 min with water flow to break in. The next day we put 5 hours on the unit washing the back porch and and 3-car driveway. We did opted for a longer 50ft hose and the first oil fill was done with genuine Honda oil.The only negative on this unit are the tires. I pretty much despise any wheel/tire on a small implement that requires air. So we changed the wheels to non-inflatables. None of our “upgrades” were required, just tailored to our needs. The hose and gun that come with the unit are more than adequate for everyday use.

Failed after 45min. of use. Poor warrantee support.
While this is a decent value, good engine (Honda GX200) and pump (CAT 4DNX25GSI) it has some major design flaws and poor warrantee support. After only 45 min. of use when I went to move the unit, one of the rubber feet fell off with the bolt. No big deal, it just vibrated loose and I’ll throw on some blue locktite and all will be good, not. The threaded insert in the frame stripped and the rubber foot can’t be reattached using the supplied M6 bolt. M8 is too big so I’ll have to find a SAE threaded bolt and cross thread it in. I also considered drilling through the frame and using a through bolt but decided against that thinking it may weaken the aluminum frame. Then I thought, why am I doing any of this? I’ll call customer service and have them send me a new lower frame support since the washer is only one day old. After several days of run around they informed me that they can’t send me that part and I’ll have to take the unit to a serve center. They were apologetic about it, but that’s more hassle than it’s worth. They other problem with this unit is it’s difficult to start. This is not typical of Honda GX engines so I’m not sure what’s going on here. This is exasperated by the fact that there is no pump pressure relief other than pulling the wand trigger. After only one or two pulls if it doesn’t start, you have pull the wand trigger to release the pressure otherwise you can’t pull it any more.
