Good quality tool
Nice quality! The push tool is very solid and the carry case is nice. Great value for 15$. I’ve bought a few of these over the years at AutoZone or similar place for 10-12$ and a lot of times the tools are very cheap and honestly junk. Definitely worth the few extras dollars for the carry case and solid tools I’ll have for a long time.

Good basic kit, but you’ll need to add two tools in order to use it
A tire plug kit is everybody should have in their car, especially with many new cars no longer including a spare tire (or even a space to add a spare tire). A plug kit and an air compressor are must haves on my list and I make sure I have them in every car.I like this particular kit because it comes in a fairly compact soft sided case. Some other kits come in larger plastic cases and include all sorts of extra supplies that you likely won’t need to have with you at all times. I prefer a smaller kit that I can simply refill if I end up needing to use it.The concept of the plug kit is simple. Get a hole in your tire? Pull whatever made the hole (nail, etc.) out of the tire, use one of the tools in this kit to poke the hole out to a uniform size and also penetrate the belt inside the tire, then use the other tool in this kit to stuff the tire plug material into the hole. Pretty simple and works quite well. Many times you won’t even need to have it professionally plugged or replaced. This kit includes the two tools mentioned above, 15 tire plug strips, a small container of lubricant for the plug insertion tool, and a separate valve repair kit with a valve tool, 2 new valves, and a small hex wrench. You also get an instruction sheet so you can follow things step by step (keep this with the kit as you’ll undoubtedly forget a step when you’re on the side of the road trying to plug the tire in the rain).Unfortunately the kit is incomplete because you will need two other tools in order to perform a successful tire repair. First, you’ll need some decent needle nose pliers so you can pull out whatever caused the hole in the first place. If you can’t get the nail out of the tire then you’re not going to be able to repair it. Second, you’ll need a sharp knife to cut the ends off the tire plug material once you’ve finished inserting it into the tire. You’ll end up with two pieces sticking out of the hole and need to slice them off so nothing is sticking out past the normal tread depth of the tire. Other kits usually include these two items, but this one doesn’t. So you’ll need to add those to the carrying case if you don’t happen to already carry those tools in your car.
