Best broom I’ve ever purchased
I was innocently shopping for a broom to sweep the back deck of my townhouse. An outdoor broom costs about $15-$18. (I have a cheap crappy indoor broom, but it wasn't cutting it on the back deck). And among the brooms in my search results, Amazon jumps in and suggests this leaf blower. And I thought “I can't afford a leaf blower.” And then Amazon said “$18?” That’s cheaper than my broom! Hell yeah I want a leaf blower! So here I am looking for a way to accomplish manual labor and Amazon gives me this glorious $18 leaf blower. No one’s ever trusted me with a leaf blower before! Idk what the hell I’m doing, but I like it.I ordered it and it took me 5 minutes to completely “sweep” the back deck spotless with my new leaf blower. (It took me longer to write this review). It's fine
This is a pretty good little leaf blower. Honestly when I took it out of the box it almost felt like a child's toy, small and light. I really only purchased this to dry off my car after I wash them. For that it does an okay job. I think it just doesn't have enough power to blow the water completely off of the car, so it takes a while going from one side to the other. However on a hot summer day it'll probably do a fine job because the forced air combined with the heat should evaporate most of the water… hopefully.It would be nice if there were two speed settings because I have tried to clean off my screened-in porch which has a concrete floor and it's like a hurricane. There is no way I can really control the direction of the dirt. It just kind of ends up blowing it from side to side instead of out the door.I did use it on leaves out front and it did a fantastic job on that.Another issue with my particular product is that the two pieces that are supposed to fit together actually do not fit correctly because the front piece was manufactured upside down, so much for quality control. I can also tell that it was probably returned by someone that was not real happy about that. When I took it out of the box I was confused because the way it was made, instead of having the angled end point down it ends up pointing up after clicking it into place. So I have to actually turn it upside down so the end is angled down, however then it doesn't click into place and on one occasion actually flew off while I was drying my moms car. Luckily the car is a piece of crap so it's not like even if it made a mark it would have been noticeable, but had it been my car I would have been livid.So really the fact is that I only paid $17 for this and it's good enough that it's not worth sending back. Had I paid more it definitely would have went back.
