Very nicely made. Read this if you want a hassle free experience out of the box.
I am very experienced in gas pressure washers, but I wanted something that I didn’t have to be quite so careful with when using, and I wanted to wash my car the easy way, without too much scrubbing. To set the machine up properly we will start with the water inlet connector. You can ignore earlier reviews where this connector broke, because it is now made of brass, is heavy duty, and should not break, ever! There is however, a dark side to this connector. The piece on the machine that it mates up to is plastic. This means that you have to get this connection right the first time! If you don’t, the connection will probably leak. You have probably cross threaded the plastic, and you will probably cry. A good bit of time wrenching on BMW’s has taught me ( the hard way! ) how to deal with plastic fittings successfully. To install the water inlet connector, the black plastic part faces AWAY from the machine. Install this on the plastic connector on the right side of the machine. From here on out, proceed with CAUTION! Put the connector on, but do not tighten, or turn to the right! Turn slowly to the left until you feel the threads drop in. Then SLOWLY! Turn to the right. If the connector looks cocked AT ALL in relation to the plastic threaded part STOP! And try again. If you cross thread this part, you can, if damaged badly enough, have a washer that will always leak, and never perform properly. The next recommendation I would like to make is to buy a container of silicone grease to grease the o rings and connectors for the spray gun. The money and agrivation you will save in torn o rings will pay for the grease in no time. DO NOT plug in the pressure washer until you prime it. Once everything is hooked up, turn the hose bib on, and the pull the spray gun trigger until a solid stream of water comes out. You can then turn on the machine and start pressure washing. Bought July 2018. Used three times. Let off pressure put away in garageSpring 2019. Got it out hooked it up. Blows circuit breaker. Switched outlet. Circuit gfi on end of plug buzzes. Won’t runNow the fun partCalled Stanley three times. Did not ever pick up after waiting ten minutesCalled a fourth time putting the phone on speaker. Answered after about 18 minutes. Took my info then somehow dropped the callCalled amazon for help. Since it’s more than 30 days won’t help. Got India first. Next day called and got a rep who spoke English very well. Still no helpCalled Stanley’s other number and they gave me a bum email addressWent to Stanley’s main web page. Started a case and today got another email saying another division with the phone number that doesn’t answer. Call back or hangs up. Frustration.
