SKIL…not just a rebrand, a step up from Milwaukee
I was skeptical of purchasing this. All my tools are Milwaukee (yes I made that mistake), and that’s where they get you…they get you to buy the tools and you are a slave to batteries which cost more than the tools! Well, with this purchase I broke free…yes I now have two brands of batteries, and two brands of chargers. But the math just made sense…In order for me to buy the Milwaukee blower, it not only cost more, But didn’t come with a battery or extra charger (the Milwaukee shop blower). So I bought this, and guess what…I have used it 10 times and still have not recharged the battery (each time I used it was maybe 5 minutes of max blowing). Its a beast…and since we are in the dead of winter I haven’t even used the weed eater, but excited to try it when we actually have grass. I repent of my monolithic battery thinking Milwaukee ways…and receive the grace of SKIL’s redemption, a second chance at life….battery life that lasts, but without the insane cost. I have 10 Milwaukee tools, and 3 Milwaukee batteries, and now SKIL is a part of the family, I think I will expand upon my SKIL family for the following purchases. Also, I would attach pictures, but I am to lazy ( I know that helps a lot when customers attach pictures, but my internet sucks right now, and I took all this time to leave you a review, so I think this should good enough to share my thoughts) – Carter

PITA to register product.
Blower works ok. However one star for the headache and wasted time to register the product. It can not be registered online. First, the product was hard to find on the Skil site and once I found its page the “register” button didn’t work ! I had to call the company, then wait on extended hold for a rep who took my info and required I upload an image of the invoice from Amazon. Once I hung up I checked the online registration only to find the rep had registered the WRONG blower model number. This poor organization does not bolster my confidence in this company.
