Easy to assemble
I used this power washer to wash my fence, pool deck and outside chairs. It had enough power to clean everything and it did it well. My fence came out so clean as did everything I power washed. It was enough power to clean my pool deck and not remove the paint off. The machine itself is pretty small compared to the one I had. It’s easy to move around and assemble. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase price and how the machine cleans!

Great for Washing Cars

After I received this Greenworks Pressure Washer, Amazon informed me that some of these pressure washers were being recalled. The affected part/location of the recall was where the hose connects to the spray handle. On about a million units, the inside of this connector was plastic instead of solid metal and was a weak spot that could break. The connector on the unit I received is solid metal, so this recall did not apply to my unit. I believe all recalled units have now been removed from Amazon’s inventory. It’s nice to see when manufacturers take care of issues like this quickly. For the number of units sold, the number of failures to date was an extremely small number statistically. Even so, you don’t want to see a company ignore any issue that could potentially cause injury, so this response by Greenworks makes me feel positive toward their brand and products. As far as the pressure washer itself, it’s a nicely made pressure washer for home use. 1500 psi is completely adequate for my needs (I mainly wanted it for washing cars, bicycles, and patio furniture. The compact size of this pressure washer is very nice. It comes with two spray nozzles (15° and 40°, a solid feeling spray handle, and a spray bottle attachment to apply soap (this attaches to the main handle – not to the extension that holds the nozzles). I would like to see Greenworks redesign the onboard storage though. As it’s currently designed, it can be cumbersome to carry everything around together (this doesn’t matter as much when the unit is in use though). Purely for storage in between uses, it would be nice if both wand sections could be stored on the side of the unit with the spray hose wrapping around a cleat on this holder. The cord storage is fine where it is, but I would relocate the soap sprayer to the side with the wands as well for more compact storage. As this will live in my garage, I can create my own storage solution that will work better for me; but maybe a future iteration could improve on this. With all that said, this pressure washer works great! I used it to wash my cars with the 40° nozzle, and it made short work of removing a winter’s worth of road grime and salt in just a few minutes. Because I didn’t use the popular foaming car cleaner, I still needed to do a regular soap/sponge and wax before my car actually looked good. That’s just Minnesota winters though. If you don’t plan on reading the instructions, here’s a quick start guide:1. Connect Pressure Washer to Hose2. Connect Pressure Washer Hose and Sprayer Handle w/ desired nozzle3. Turn on Water4. Use Pressure Washer Wand for 30 Seconds w/ Pressure Washer Off (removes air from unit and hose)5. Plug Pressure Washer In6. Turn on Pressure Washer7. Ready for Use (if using to wash your car, I recommend the 40° nozzle while keeping it at least six inches away from the paint and 12 inches away from the trim during use)

Not impressed

I wish I would have spent twice as much and got a decent gas powered one. Even after washing the car it still has dirt on it. The plug is awkward and long and the hose is always getting in the way. The soap bottle sucks and you can’t use it with the pressure hose attached. I bought a soap dispenser from Walmart that attaches to the pressure hose and it works a lot better. If you set the bar low this thing is fine. I only use it to wash my car and it does an okay job, but I still find my self hand washing it while using this if not there’s still dirt spots every where.
