I just finished mowing my lawn with the MJ402E and I am both puzzled and pleased. The grass was on the longish side (townhouse) which meant I had to empty the rear bag five times. Once the grass is under control I figure I will have to empty it at least twice per lawn cutting. It does hold a lot of clippings, but still, it is a bit annoying to have to stop and empty the bag into a lawn/leaf bag. Does it mulch? Nope. It cuts the grass and you empty the grass clippings.The part that puzzled me was getting it to start. At the very beginning, it came to life and start cutting the grass. Then I stopped it to empty the bag and for the life of me couldn’t get it to start again. I came back inside, re-read the instruction and saw what was happening. You have to tilt the mower back towards you (really tilt) then press the button and pull down the handle. That took some getting used to. Tilt, press, pull. If nothing happens (as with me), tilt it some more, press and pull. Check that the thing is still plugged in, then tilt waaay backwards, press and pull.Whoever said it was not noisy must be hearing impaired. This thing is as loud as any gas mower. I like that it is electric and doesn’t smell up the place and that I don’t have to store gas as with a gasoline mower. I like that it has a handle that allows you to easily pick the thing up to bring inside, but I will have to go back to the instructions to figure out how to fold the handle and not end up taking the thing apart.Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and know that in time I will get the hang of it now that I have gotten my lawn back under control. No regrets on the purchase whatsoever. (P.S. the instructions said there were two clips for the cord, but they were not in my box).

Do not buy any lawn mowers from this company. I have purchased 3 lawn mowers from this company within 3 years and all of them stop running within a short amount of time. This is not a quality lawn mower if you mow your lawn weekly or biweekly. This lawn mower can not handle the use. It doesnt matter if you treat the lawn mower gently, it will still break. I kept buying lawn mowers from this company because they are priced at an amount i was able to afford. I will just save for a better mower. If you purchase this lawn mower, you will find that the grass gets stick often, with or without the grass catcher. This causes the mower to stop and you must clear grass from the blade by hand. It doesnt matter how high or low your grass is. It doesnt matter how high or low you set the lawn mower. The grass will get stuck in the blade. It is also hard to push at times. You will be stuck outside for hours clearing this lawn mower. Save you money and buy something better. It can not handke frequent use.
