Amazing little weed eater! Don’t be fooled by price or size!
I had to do something about the Johnson Grass (which can have a stalk the consistency of a corn stalk) in my clover and alfalfa hay field. I purchased this light weight and inexpensive weed eater that came with nice attachments. I used the two sided metal mowing blade. I added an old strap off of a suitcase for a shoulder sling (it is light weight, but I was using it for 2 hours at a time). Unit comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. The first battery lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes of continuous cutting. The 2nd battery lasted 55 minutes. I almost wore out before the batteries did. I was able to work in the evenings about 2 hours with both batteries and I cut the Johnson Grass out of a 1 acre hay field in 4 evenings (about 8 hours of total time). Picture shows on the right where I had used the weed eater and on the left of what I was cutting. Probably the manufacturer didn’t anticipate this kind of use, but I put the weed eater to the test and it passed with flying colors. I would not hesitate to buy another one if I ever wear this one out. Great product!
