This blower is insane!
I can’t believe I waited as long as I did because I’m too cheap to normally spend money on these products. This is my 3rd Ego product after buying the trimmer and lawnmower. I couldn’t wait to rip this out of the box. It took 3 seconds after the battery was put on that I fell in love with it. This thing is insane. It puts my gas blower to shame. Since I have batteries from my other 2 units I got the blower (tool only). It’s so light that I thought the box was empty when it arrived. I put the 2.5 Amp hour battery on this and blew my entire front yard and still had a full battery (About 15-20 minutes run time) Like the other units this is super quiet and I was amazingly impressed with the power that it had with no real kickback from the blowing power. Someone took time in testing this to make sure it was perfect. I know they make the 650 which is larger but I don’t see what you’d need more power in a blower over the 580 unless you’re a landscaper moving tons of wet leaves. So far, Ego is 3 for 3 in making me happy. I just wish I made the decision sooner. If you’re researching these don’t bother, just get it. I’ll expect to see thank you’s in the comments under my review. haha!

Beware of ‘dealers’
I very much like EGO products. I use their mower, (and now my second blower), hedge trimmer, chainsaw, and string trimmer. However, this purchased product gave up the ghost after exactly one year. I called the manufacturer (EGO) concerning the warranty. I was told the ‘dealer’ from whom I purchased it is not an ‘authorized dealer’. Therefore, they would not honor the warranty. I have contacted Amazon warranty dept. with no results as yet.When purchasing such items, please beware from what ‘dealer’ you are purchasing
