It fits my john deer 48 lawnmower and then some!
I can’t speak to the water proofing yet.. but this cover actually is big enough to cover my 48″ John deer unlike another one I bought that claims to fit up to 54″ (tough cover I’m looking at you!) So I would say buy this one if your on the fence about one to purchase… if you have a 48″ or above lawnmower…Pros: it’s definitely big enough! There’s a vent on the side to allow for breathing which I really like right under the triceratops logoI’ll update my review if it’s as waterproof as it claims to be, but it seems like the same material as the tough cover so I doubt I’ll have a problem with itCons: the draw string doesn’t work so well because it is so big and so you can’t pull the draw string tight enough

Bought this so I could leave my tractor (John Deere S135 outside . Plenty big, waterproof, almost John Deere green. Nice. The color went away quickly, though. The Tennessee summer sun seemed to be too much for it, but that was OK, I didn’t get it for its beauty. But then in September I grabbed the loop handle on the front of the cover, and it ripped out. Not at a seam, which would have been annoying enough, but the fabric itself had failed. OK, duct tape is our friend, and done properly no one sees it. Then a couple of weeks later, covering the tractor after cutting the grass. another one foot rent opened up. Again, not a seam opening up, but the cloth itself giving way. More duct tape. Two wind storms a week apart in early October saw the long seam that ran from to back on the right hand side opened down 3/4 the length of the cover. Now running out of tape and patience. No further damage until i went to cut the grass for the first time this past Monday (21 March 1922). The winter had finished what summer had started. What didn’t disintegrate when I uncovered the tractor did when I tried to cover it again. I’m on Amazon now buying a ripstop tarp that I’ll stake to the ground with bunjee cords. Filing this one under “seemed like a good idea at the time”.
