Highly recommend for people who realize the pros and cons of a manual mower
I wasn’t expecting much out of a manual push mower, but I just finished using it for the first time and I’m so impressed!Few things to be noted:-Yes, it is going to take a little more effort than a standard mower. You’re buying a manual mower. That’s what you signed up for.-Yes, it will take more physical strength if you’re trying to mow down 10” high grass. Cause it’s a manual mower.-Yes, it does occasionally get caught on sticks, but it takes 2 seconds to remove the obstruction. If you don’t have 2 seconds available, why are you buying a manual mower?-Yes, it takes more time than a gas or electric mower. Again, cause it’s a manual mower.-Yes, the grass catcher bag is pretty small and fills up very quickly. Cause it’s a manual mower! It’s not designed to mow an acre. I will forgo the use of the bag altogether on my next use and simply rake up the clippings afterwards. Not a big deal for me.-I’m a 32 year old female who stands at 5’6” and weighs 125, I had no trouble assembling or using this mower. Very pleased with its performance thus far. And I actually found it enjoyable. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly mower and enjoy the idea of getting some light exercise while doing yard work, I would highly recommend this.If you are someone who complains about putting time and effort into things, you should probably just call a landscaper.

Cuts Grass/Poor Vacuum
I waited until I’ve used this at least 3 times to review it, I would summarize it as “Meh”!It DOES cut grass, and it is self-propelled – that’s the good news. The bad news is it really doesn’t create enough of a vacuum to suck up anything other than the grass clippings as they are cut. So for example, if you have a lot of leaves on your lawn when you mow the lawn 90% of them will NOT get sucked into the bag! There IS a “Turbo” button that increases the motor speed and suction – BUT it drains the battery quickly so you have to use it sparingly. One other nuisance is the self propel drive mechanism – it does not disengage the rear wheels immediately when you release the drive control, it takes several seconds (during which time the rear wheels are locked and will not turn backwards). This becomes really noticeable if you are mowing an area that requires you to go forward/backwards repeatedly (like a small narrow section of lawn). You engage the forward drive to make a pass, release the control and immediately pull the mower back for the next pass – but the rear wheels lock and sort of “dig in” to the lawn if you drag it backwards. If you wait a few seconds the drive eventually disengages and the rear wheels turn freely.Overall, it’ll get the job done for my fairly small lawn area – but I’m unimpressed with its performance and capabilities.
