easy on the arms with unique attachments – retiring my plastic spool trimmer
I was looking for anything to cut down the thick weeds in my backyard and came upon this, which came with four different blades that included 2 metal saw blades. I purchased this version and am extremely pleased with it. The cowling that protects you from the blade appears to be well-made, and putting it together was relatively simple. Continue moving it until it fits into the correct groves, then press down to seat it, then turn it so the two holes line up to attach the lone screw that holds it in place. I couldn’t get the screw in until I got out my knife and scraped a little stuff out of the cowling’s screw hole. Then I could just screw it in. The machine is incredibly efficient, and the saw blade turned the weeds into mince meat. I’m not sure I’ll ever use the plastic blades because there are steel ones as well. The two saw blades are fantastic. This is an excellent machine with a lot of power. Replacement blades with the same two crescent shapes on top and bottom as the center circle were found.

Disappointing but I’ll use it for lack of better option to meet my needs
1. Smaller than expected so I should have paid more attention to dimensions. 2. Instructions are horrible and definitely out of order in the booklet. 3. Instructions refer to a black piece that doesn’t exist so it starts you off incorrectly. 3. Power is acceptable if you recognize it’s such a light weight and little tool. 4. THE LENGTH BAR DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE. You can’t keep the length bar in place. Any slightest pressure and it collapses while you are using. I would think that a safety issue. Luckily for me I’m good at E Texas engineering and have rigged something to help it stay open/length. However, that means I also can’t adjust it as needed. 5. Use times shown of about 20 min one battery is pretty accurate. 6. Wish there was something similar that would be a little bigger to do the same thing. perhaps with 4 wheels and wider diameter. (Not a mower – need to take out brush). Would be a great alternative to the expensive and string type brush mowers out there now. The company definitely needs to get someone with practical use of product/English who’s good at communication and instructions to rewrite their booklet. So better than nothing, better than a heavy mower, but definitely have to work around the design flaw/non working as intended features. Definitely for SMALL areas only.
