I love it, Also — Battery Removal Hack

Great Mower. I have a quarter of an acre lot, probably 4000 SqFt of grass. I need about a battery and a half to complete the job. Very powerful, gets through thick long grass with ease, the self propelled really help and even does a good job cutting when moving full speed. All in all super happy with the mower. Now for the Battery Removal debacle. — Buy some long Zip Ties. Use one zip ties to go around the perimeter of the battery and make it super tight, cut off excess. Then take a second zip tie and tie a small loop around the first zip tie. What you end up with is a loop right next to the battery decompress . So with one hand, you decompress the battery release, and then use a finger on the other hand, put in the loop and pull up. This makes it super easy and gives you great leverage to remove the battery.

Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A complete piece of junk!!!!!!

Update Oct 9th (purchased Feb): 8 months later and NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY! They outright REFUSE to provide assistance. Uploaded another video of the mower failing to work without even cutting grass. Biggest waste of money I’ve made in a while!Stops mowing every few feet and beeps repeatedly. Not in thick grass or on a low profile or anything. Refuses to restart until I tip the mower completely onto its side and then right it again. This thing cannot handle grass more than 1″ above its cutting profile. One of the absolute WORST most WORTHLESS and HORRIBLE mowers I’ve ever had the displeasure of using! The battery is almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove. The flap that hides it doesn’t open far enough for NO REASON AT ALL besides BAD DESIGN. Absolutely NOTHING fits right on this thing. The “safety” bars that you have to pull while it runs will pop OUT of their sockets a couple of items every mowing session. But since you can’t move more than a few feet before it completely gives up anyway, it gives you plenty of time to fix it.It has insane problems where it won’t start mowing until you tip it over and right it, and then sometimes it WON’T STOP MOWING even if you’re not even touching the darn thing. You have to manually rip out the battery or red circuit breaker in order to get it to stop mowing.UPDATE 4-25: After more than a DOZEN contact attempts to the company without a SINGLE response, I am seeking legal council to pursue action against greenworks for not only a dangerous item, but an item that does not work and a company that’s outright refusing to provide any sort of help or support.Call the line: “We can’t do anything you have to fill out the form online”Fill out the form online: ……. nothing…..Fills it out again: nothing………and again: nothing……….calls back: “We can’t do anything you have to fill out the form online”, but they don’t respond, “We can’t do anything you have to fill out the form online.”It’s now been almost THREE MONTHS that I have been trying to get support from SOMEONE, and NOTHING! HORRIBLE PRODUCTS, HORRIBLE SERVICE, absolutely HORRIBLE company! Avoid at all costs!
