Works to keep the original beveled angle
This unit works and can do a very nice job but if you already have a bench grinder and a steady hand I would stick with the bench grinder as it will be faster.Advantages – It does not overheat the metal. Maintains the factory beveled edge.Pro tips – Be patient and do apply too much pressure. Hold on to the drill with both hands to keep it steady.If the screw that holds the grinding wheel on it comes lose you are likely running the drill in reverse.

Junk – completely defective. A nice idea though..
Doesn’t work even a little bit. The grinding disks spin freely on the shaft. I can hold the disks between my index and middle finger like a fancy cigarette and spin the drill. You essentially get 2 decent-looking grinding stones loitering in the vicinity of a hexagonal shaft. Not very excited that I removed the mower deck of my lawn tractor to use these. I’m returning with extreme prejudice.
