It seems like most battery leaf blowers emphasize how light they are and the incredible speed of the air coming out of the nozzle. – I wanted one of the heavier units because to me that means it is better made and going to last longer. This is one of the heavier battery blowers, but it is still 3 pounds lighter than the corded unit I was using before. – I wanted higher CFM (cubic feet per minute = volume) rather than higher air speed. With this blower I can walk down the sidewalk at my normal walking speed, and there is so much air coming out, it totally clears the sidewalk of dust, blossoms and dry leaves with no back-and-forth motion. If I aim it at the gravel, it blows off the leaves without leaving a hole in the gravel. I can also use it around the potted plant on our porch without blowing it over like my corded unit did.

Fantastic Leaf Blower for Small Yards

Cleaned out the winter leaves from our flower bed. The blower laster about 19 minutes on low, which was surprisingly long for the small battery. The airflow was very good, and it had no problem with the slightly wet leaves. For a little extra power there was a high setting that could clear out larger clumps. The battery level indicator was very useful. Satisfied so far. The battery life would be short to do a full yard, so and extra battery or two would be good. For a flower bed or driveway, this would be pretty good. 5 stars overall, with a note that this is for smaller areas, not a full yard.

RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT BATTERY DOES NOT FIT!

DO NOT BUY THE BBT-DC40A BATTERY FOR THIS BLOWER, IT DOES NOT FIT even though it’s included as a recommendation! I’ve contacted EnHulk for a recommended battery and they haven’t responded, I don’t want a blower that I can’t get a replacement battery for!
