Water resistance
I use this to protect my lawn tractor from the weather. I fold the seat forward before covering, which prevents any pooling of water on the cover itself and since doing so have not had a problem with any leakage. I have had the cover blow off twice, both times during severe thunderstorms. I have learned to roll the tractor forward onto the cover after placing it over the front wheels, then place the cover over the tractor and rear wheels and roll it back enough to trap it under the rear wheels. After heavy rains the cover sometimes has water pooled in the folds around the bottom edge where the elastic has ridden up. Overall I am very pleased with this cover, particularly at this price.

Solid cover

Solid lawn mower cover. It is made of strong water resistant material. It has a fitted edge that holds it around the mower. It fit mine perfectly. And it comes with a storage bag for when not in use.

Roomy but not really waterproof

First off, this is a BIG cover. I got it for a Poulan 46″ but even on my Deere D170 54″ tractor it’s almost too big. If there’s any wind at all I have to tie a rope about 1/2 way up to keep it from becoming a balloon. On the other hand if you have a bagger attached it’d probably be perfect. The elastic band at the bottom is very good and if you get it tucked in all the way around it seems to hold well. My only real gripe is that it isn’t waterproof. From the first time I used it to cover the Poulan before a light rain the seat had water puddled on it as soon as I uncovered it after the rain stopped. This was the whole reason I bought it so I’m a bit disappointed for that. Maybe I just got a bad one. Otherwise it’s a nice cover with room to spare.
