Easy to assemble
I was in the market for a cordless power washer and has been a fan of DeWalt products. I bought the item which as advertised, it provides 10 times the pressure of the garden water hose which usually averages around 50 PSI, thus it probably produced around 500 PSI. The pressure washer took about one hour to clean 10 feet of deck area around my pool. I used two 5 AMH batteries which got drained very rapidly. It would take about the same two batteries for washing a car. The quality is medium, and the tool is overpriced as you pay mostly for name brand. Overall I was not satisfied with the product and returned it. I believe you get better quality and performance with other DeWalt drills, sanders and sews as they are work horses and I do own quiet a few in my workshop.

Adjust your expectations and it’s a great tool

I understand the contempt this thing gets. Dewalt has marketed it as a power washer and it is not that. Poor move on Dewalt’s part, especially since this is a super handy tool. I live on several acres in the country. My well pump makes terrible water pressure with even a 50 ft hose and that’s barely long enough to reach my driveway. This tool plus a five gallon bucket has allowed me to clean things that have not been cleaned in years. The kids’ play set, the pole barn, the retaining wall blocks, and many others. It’s not very strong but I do think it lives up to its 550 ft lb rating and that has been plenty for me. The people who say it’s not stronger than their garden hose must have insanely powerful water pressure.Don’t think of this tool as a power washer. Think of it as a highly portable, well-pressurized garden hose. If that sounds like something you need, it is definitely worth the cost.
