Does everthing I needed
I gave it 5 stars because it met all of my expectations for the cost paid. First the plastic blades will break if one it trying to cut something other than grass. However it works fine on thick grass which I have between rose bushes and other wild flower patches where a mower or standard size weed whip cannot go without endangering plantings. Second the metal twin blade (not saw type blade) was use to clear about a quarter acre of emerging garlic mustard and 12″ to 14″ high thorn bushes with 3/16 to 1/4 inch stems at the base with no problem. Something I tried with a borrowed Black and Decker weed whip and failed along with pieces flying upward as the string attached itself for various size sticks. I am working in a dense woodland not a piece of land with some trees.The saw type blade worked well on 1/4″ more woody type work. I never “killed” either battery as I worked through the project. I changed to the other battery when I could tell the first was getting a bit weak but worked for about 2hous before I gave up before the batteries. It is lightweight but has more power than one would believe by its weight. I would say it was great for a home owner but maybe not for commercial use.

Too expensive for its limited application
I bought this to trim around fence posts and trees and on my 2 1/2 acre property. I needed a lightweight, cordless edger and the fact that it had wheels so I could push it around, instead of holding it, was a real selling point. This is not the tool for that job. It was missing parts when I received it so the wheels could not be used. It is also quite flimsy. I would say this tool was designed for a smallish size flower garden maybe the size found in an urban setting or a townhouse. It would work well for that limited application but you could get another tool that would work just as well for less money. I would not recommend this product.
