Wasn’t sure what mower I had, and didn’t go look. Ordered this because it looked like the one my kid ran over with the mower. It had an extra half pipe of plastic along the edge that mine didn’t, but fit just as well as my original did (which wasn’t great to begin with. I’m also not a fan of this type of discharge chute system that falls off when encountering very tall weeds or a minor tree bump). This replacement fits just as good as the original, and at a better price.

Wrong part

All the information I plugged into the search engine was for a Discharge shute for a TroyBilt 42 in mower. What I ended up purchasing and receiving is for a Walk behind Lawn Mower. I have four walk behind lawn mowers, and neither one of them has a detachable/flip up discharge shute. I am not sending it back, because it is too much hassle, but I have learned a major lesson, and that is pictures are very deceiving, and you need to look up your products serial number and do not trust the pictures.
