A strong electric machine, comparable to gas
I had high hope for this Sun Joe SPX3000 Max Pressure Washer, and they lived up to them. Ive only ever used gas powered washers before and know that the electric versions typically aren’t as powerful in comparison. But unfortunately gas machines are a lot more hassle, give off exhaust fumes, are louder, bigger and can have maintenance issues so we wanted to switch to electric. Electric is usually more compact, quieter, and you don’t have to worry about breathing in exhaust fumes.This Sun Joe electric power washer is their highest model for power and performed the same as my old gas power washer. It worked great to get grime off our awning that had been baked on for years even with its lightest pressure nozzle. With its highest pressure nozzle, it cleaned our patio and concrete steps really well too.The machine is pretty powerful. It has a 14.5amp motor and produces 2800 PSI. I looked at a bunch of other Sun Joe models and this is the one with the highest PSI that wasn’t a giant commercial use machine…. For anyone that doesn’t know, PSI stands for “pounds per square inch” and it is the measure used to show how much force is generated. So the higher the PSI the more powerful your electric power washer is going to be. This Sun Joe SPX3000 MAX is their highest PSI model. Its powerful for an electric machine and can handle tough jobs. I would strongly recommend for anyone going with an electric machine, to splurge and get the higher model. It’s worth it, especially if you plan on using it for tougher jobs, like concrete and siding.The whole machine is fairly compact which I like. It barely takes up any space in our shed and all of the parts (the sprayer, pressure hose, and changeable nozzles) attach neatly to the machine for storage. The electric cord is 35 Feet long, the pressure hose is 20 feet long and there are 4 spray nozzles for different levels of pressure and 1 to produce foam. The sound is also much less obnoxious and loud than the gas versions which I like.Im happy with this power washer, I feel like it’s the best electric version I could have gotten. It’s a powerful machine that handles all the tough cleaning jobs I need it for. I’m really glad I got this model and not any of the cheaper ones with lower PSi’s because anything less than this model wouldn’t have enough power for what I need.

It’s Fair.
I have had gas power washers at 3000 psi for the last several years and I wanted to switch to electric. I called SunJoe and they stated how great this power washer is since they were able to decrease the GPM while bumping the PSI to 2800. My foam cannon doesn’t seem to work that well due to the restriction in water flow and the cord is very short that comes with the wand. For the price, save your money and buy the 3000 PSI power washer on amazon for half the price with more water flow as well. I love the auto off feature but most electrics have that today. My gas power washer removes way more soap and dirt.
