Very powerful
I replaced my older 12amp Remington blower vac with this. I am impressed by the quality plastic used, it feels durable and sturdy. Compared to my last leafblower which was rated at 200mph, this is much more powerful and its heavier. When I turn it on, you can feel the torque of the impeller twist the entire unit. It blows much better than what I’m used to that I can get by just on the low setting. I have rubber mulch and the last leaf blower I had would barely move it on high settings, this blower is so powerful that I need to keep it on low when I’m around the flower beds because its powerful enough to blow away my rubber mulch. I haven’t tried the vac yet, but I am impressed that the impeller is metal as my last leaf-blower had a plastic one and tended to jam when picking up pine cones.Update 01/12/2020I used the Vac feature during fall/Winter to pick up leaves. This thing is a beast! It picks up wet and dry leaves with ease mulching everything into small pieces so you can dispose of it.

Built to fail
Bought this for the leaf vac feature after reading the good reviews. After using just two times the zipper on the leaf bag failed and had to splice it back together, after a total of just five uses the bag is coming apart. Seriously? You may have well just offered a leaf vac for rent instead of selling something that breaks after a few times. And no, was not vacuuming up rocks or shards of glass, just normal leaves. What a waste of money.
